While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I encountered behind its threshold was disturbing and far below any standard .

From the moment I stepped inside , it was apparent that sanitation was not a priority at this venue. The surfaces were tacky , and a pungent odor of old alcohol and neglected washrooms filled the entire pub. With a smell of a mixture of human waste, old age and sour vomit . The bar area , which should be the primary feature of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and debris that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. The bathroom was in even more deplorable shape —overflowing , with a broken handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
It wasn’t just a one-off bad night either. After reading through multiple accounts and conversing with residents , it seems that the level of hygiene (or mastersons bar lack thereof) at this bar is a recurring complaint. Many visitors have reported witnessing insects darting across the bar area and traces of mice in the storage spaces . For a business that website offers beverages , these issues are utterly disgraceful and raise serious concerns about the sanitation of the food and drinks .
